The Rex Nordic AH-210i delivers 44,000 BTU/h of infrared heat for garages, workshops, farm buildings, and smaller commercial spaces. Its portable design, quiet operation, and automatic temperature controls make it a practical option for heating workspaces without installing a permanent heating system.
How Infrared Heating Works
Unlike traditional forced-air heaters that primarily warm and circulate air, the Rex Nordic AH-210i uses infrared heat to warm people, floors, equipment, and surrounding surfaces.
This makes infrared heating especially useful in metal garages and workshops where overhead doors are opened frequently. Although warm air escapes when a door opens, surfaces that have absorbed infrared heat can retain warmth longer.
The AH-210i operates on #2 diesel or renewable diesel (HVO/R99) and uses a standard 120-volt electrical connection. With automatic thermostat control, a remote, timers, and Wi-Fi connectivity through the Rex Nordic app, you can manage the heater without constantly adjusting it manually.
Actual heating performance depends on insulation, ceiling height, outdoor temperatures, and building conditions. Proper ventilation, safe clearances, and carbon monoxide detection are essential. Always follow Rex Nordic's operating instructions.
